    Urban Ranger L

Posted by Larry on Jun 7th 2024

The Urban Ranger L is every bit as advertised. The opening action is nice and smooth it’s lite and durable. It feels really nice in the hand. I also purchased the Ranger S at the same time you can’t have one without the other.

    I love it

Posted by William Rogers on Apr 15th 2024

I own ZT's, kershaws, SOG's, gerbers.. etc I own quite a bit of different knives. This one is quality, blade is centered really nicely, super smooth flip action. Feels like ball bearing, is on par to my ZT flipper on smoothness. IMO if any big name knife maker was making this they would charge 70+ if not more. I really like this and plan on using it for a my edc. Not only that, it does look super nice.

    704 Knives

Posted by Randy on Apr 1st 2024

I bought several knives from 704 gear, I was drawn in by the high quality materials advertised and the low price. I usually buy benchmade and I own many high quality knives, I bought these as beaters since I'm tired of tearing up my good knives. With D2 steel I expect decent edge retention and for the metal to not be too soft. So far I have used the knives to cut open bags of fertilizer and other garden materials, and immediately I noticed the factory edge wore down quickly. On cheaper knives I've noticed sometimes a factory edge is more of one big burr than a proper edge and went to clean it up that didn't seem to be the case here. They are solid knives for the price but the metal just seems to be incredibly soft. I would recommend these knives as stocking stuffers for the average joe, but I do not recommend these for serious use.

Received both my knifes today. This larger knife right out the box, really good quality. After some use in my woods, it is still standing strong

For the price is up there with a Civivi, and Sencut. It looks and feels just the mentioned blades, which I own. Beautiful big blade, very smooth opening. I'm hoping for more blades, and ways to open. Very happy with my purchase. I highly recommend it ?

For those in need of a more compact blade, the Urban Ranger also offers a lite 2.91-inch version.
